Justin Bieber prefers to learn from what the past left him, even if they have been bitter experiences, the certain thing, he says, is that both then and now, God has been close to him.
Through his Instagram account, Justin recalled one of the worst years of his life, 2014, when he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of narcotics.
With a snapshot of the moment of the arrest, the singer reflected on how he felt back then: hurt, unhappy, confused, angry, deceived, misunderstood and angry at God.
The Canadian, now married to model Hailey Baldwin, looks back on his life, and advises his fans to learn from the past so that it does not become an impediment to improve and create a future.
“On a day like today 7 years ago they arrested me, I was not at my best. I’m not proud of where I was in my life. He was hurt, unhappy, confused, angry, deceived, misunderstood, and angry at God. He also wore too much leather to be in Miami. All this to tell you that God has brought me a long way. From then until now I realize something … God was as close to me then as now. My advice to you is to ‘let your past be a reminder of how far God has brought you. Don’t let shame ruin your “today,” let Jesus’ forgiveness take over and watch your life flourish in all that God has designed for you. I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART ”, it reads.
