From witch to comedian, actress Kathryn Hahn is already preparing her next big role. After joining the Marvel saga, the interpreter has become one of the most coveted in Hollywood and has now signed to give life to Joan Rivers in a series that will narrate part of the life of one of the most important stand-up figures American on a show called The Comeback Girl.

According to Variety, the Showtime channel is developing a biographical series on Joan Rivers. The actress who would play the iconic comedian will be Kathryn Hahn, one of the most recent Emmy nominees for the show WandaVision – 95%, the first from Marvel Studios. The title of this new program will be The Comeback Girl and the writer is a new screenwriter named Cosmo carlson.
Rivers, who they sure remember from the fashion and comedy show Fashion Police, is one of the legends of the United States stand up. After beginning a successful career in the New York comedy scene, she became the protégé of host Johnny Carson, who eventually made her his understudy on the show. Tonight show, one of the oldest and most important night programs on television in that country.
The new show about Rivers will not be all laughs, because, despite the rude facade that her comedy of insults gave her, the comedian went through many tragedies. Although the comedian had been Carson’s favorite, she said that when she called to tell him that she would go with the competition to do her own show, he hung up on her, never spoke to her again and exiled her from The Tonight Show. This lasted until just the past decade when Jimmy Fallon, the now production owner, invited her back to the set that, for years, she had hosted.
Rivers is best remembered for her name calling comedy, and although she had a long career on television, younger audiences probably recognize her for Fashion Police, one of the most successful shows on E! in which he criticized the fashion of celebrities on the red carpets.
