Lemnis gate is a new generation of strategic shooter combat in which only the smartest survive. Based on tactical turns and set entirely in a series of 25-second time loops, the stakes are high and much to ponder. So before you jump into the game, take a look at these 14 essential tips and tricks to help you gain the upper hand on the battlefield and get through combat in no time.
Advance shots. Anticipate your enemy’s movements by covering key points with bullets, traps or shields. This will prevent them from neutralizing your plans.
Temporary strategies. Combine the actions of your past, present and future operations. Not everything has to be resolved in one turn.
Keep an eye on the loop. Between turns, fly your drone across the map to see the current state of the time loop. Take this opportunity to plan your next move.
Ghost mode. Did you die mid-shift? No problem, you can finish your turn as a ghost. Your ghost actions will become real if that operative is saved on a later turn.
Break the butterfly effect. Losing control of the battlefield? Turn the game around and turn it in your favor by finding the culprit and erasing his chain of deadly events from the loop.
When and where. Remember that it is not just about the location of an Operative in space, but WHEN it is in time. Plan accordingly.
Friendly shot. Shooting between friends is always active. Be careful not to run into your own shots, even from previous turns. You don’t want to eliminate yourself.
Selection of operatives. There is always the perfect person (or robot) for the job. There is no room for favorites at Lemnis Gate, selecting the right operative is the key to a successful strategy.
Action Reaction. Are you going first? Go ahead, set the pace of the game. Are you going last? Take control by preventing all the moves your opponent has made before you.
The user interface is your ally. Use the strategy indicators or view the on-screen goal timeline to help you create and execute the perfect strategy.
Always have a plan B. Did you miss a key shot? Do not panic. You can fix the bugs in future rounds. Maybe this mistake will lead you to a new master plan.
Focus of combat. Focusing exclusively on one target or enemy operative can be easy to combat. Diversify and spread out your team to cover as much ground as possible.
Keep on moving. A stationary target is an easy target for a future bullet. Make your movements unpredictable to mislead your opponent.
Strengthen your shields. If you decide to stay put, be sure to take cover on the next turn by fielding a defensive-minded operative like KARL.
