The Lower House approves a project to finance the government until December 18 and prevent its ‘closure’
The House of Representatives approved this Thursday a budget project that will finance the government apparatus until December 18 and thus avoid its ‘closure’ while legislators negotiate a broad budget plan – known as bus– and possibly a new package of financial aid for the pandemic.
The bill was approved in a 343-67 vote in the Lower House, according to The Hill, and will now go to the Senate.
It will be a draft budget for one week, as current funding expires on December 11.
