Margaret, 90, first person to be injected with the coronavirus vaccine

The first person to be injected with the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine, outside of the research stages, is Margaret Keenan, a 90-year-old woman from Northern Ireland. She said she felt “so privileged” to get this injection at Coventry University Hospital.

Vaccination centers have been set up in various locations across the UK where people over 80 and healthcare staff can get vaccinated.
