Traditionally Apple has always presented new devices in the month of March, and on many occasions it has done so through an event. Throughout 2020 Apple had numerous keynotes, all of them online, in which it revealed the most important news and devices of the year. And many of us expected that in just a few weeks Apple will announce a new event in March.
According to some rumors, this keynote could take place on March 16, and in it Apple could present new iPad, AirTags and something else. But now, Mark Gurman has arrived and ensures that Apple does not have an event planned for next March 16.
Nevertheless, leaves open the possibility that we do have an event in the month of March, but not specifically on that day. Apple has several devices to present, and it makes sense to show them at an event, even if it’s online.
Launch isn’t on the 16th

Apple could pick up a lot of news in March
Last year Apple introduced new iPad Pro and Macs in March, the iPhone SE in April and in 2019 we saw new AirPods. This year rumors say that Apple will launch new iPad Pro, highly anticipated AirTags and perhaps new AirPods 3 of which its design has just been completely filtered.
Actually, Apple has both options. Either you can show these news in a keynote, or you can introduce these devices in a press release. But it is true that there are reasons to think that Apple could show them at an event and show off your novelties.
The iPad Pro this year are going to release a new mini LED screen, the first of its kind to be used by Apple. The AirTags are brand new, and it would be nice if Apple showed their operation live and explained them in depth. And, in addition, the AirPods 3 will have a new design and are expected to include important new features.
Seeing these news in a press release and delegating to the media an explanation of how a device like the AriTag works, I don’t think it’s a good idea, but who knows what Apple may be preparing.
