That Mark Hamill has not heard of Star Wars: Visions reveals the scant publicity done by Lucasfilm to echo the series. The company released all the chapters of the first season on the same day, an action that makes us think of a marked disinterest in the project, very different from what it has done, for example, with the Marvel Studios series. When the platform bets on the weekly premiere, it ensures that its product will remain in vogue for weeks, but with Star Wars: Visions things seem to be going a different way. There is no hope for the continuation of these stories.
Lucasfilm has struggled to deliver decent stories on the big screen. The sequel trilogy that began in 2015 resulted in a surprising nonsense, a more or less solid approach that turned into a sea of inconsistencies and finally into something without feet or head. The story of Rey, Kylo Ren and the others left a bitter taste in the mouth of the fandom, who prefer to ignore its existence and stay with the most recent projects observed on Disney Plus.
But some still have confidence in tomorrow and hope Disney will learn from its mistakes. They dream that the next Lucasfilm films will be spectacular, loaded with the essence of Star wars that we all know. Will we see the success of the film productions that are currently being planned in the Lucasfilm laboratories? Only time will give us the answer.
Meanwhile, fans can look forward to The Book of Boba Fett, a series focused on the popular bounty hunter that surprised everyone in the second season of The Mandalorian – 91%. Also, on the way is the Obi-Wan Kenobi and Cassian Andor series, not forgetting the third by Din Djarrin. Let’s remember that now little Grogu has been under the tutelage of Luke Skywalker, so seeing the Jedi master again is a high probability, Mark Hamill He will be delighted to return if it is that is proposed to him; So far no new cameo has been confirmed but it will surely unfold as another new surprise.
The Book of Boba Fett premieres in December.
