In the days before the pandemic, Marvel released three MCU movies a year. This year it changed and four will be released, of which two have already come out, Black Widow – 87% and Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings – 95%. The point is that we all thought that this was due to the extraordinary situation we are experiencing. But apparently this could be the rule in the studio’s new normal.

As Comic Book reported, Disney Studios updated its release schedule between now and 2024. Which caught everyone’s attention in that four Marvel movies were added there for that year. Five have already been announced for 2023 and four for 2022. This makes it clear that 2023 is going to be an anomaly and that in 2024 everything will return to normal. It seems that many films are here to stay. That is good. That indicates that the MCU has put its foot on the gas to continue the expansion of the MCU.
The release dates are as follows. The year is going to start for Marvel on February 16, 2024, then they are going to give us two summer blockbusters, the first arriving on May 3 and the second on July 26. The last film of that year is released on November 8. What movies are going to be released on those dates? As we already know, Marvel Studios are fans of hiding information. In fact, we do not know the last three films that will be released in the dates of 2023. But it is believed that on July 28 of that year Deadpool 3 arrives, on October 6 Blade and on November 3 the highly anticipated The Fantastic Four. – 29%.

Of course, those three films have already been announced. Most likely, one of those in 2024 will be Captain america 4. Of the others we can only speculate. One possibility is that we see a sequel to Shang-chi. The movie has done well and Kevin Feige has already discussed plans for a sequel. Another possibility is that we see a Young Avengers movie. The characters have been being introduced to the MCU one after another in the Disney Plus series. For the same reason, it is speculated that at some point we will see that team of young vigilantes in a movie, although we cannot rule out the possibility that it is in a series.
In fact, in a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, he was directly asked Feige if the Phase 4 movies and series are meant to culminate in the introduction of this team of young heroes. As is his custom, he did not respond with either a yes or a no, but he left open the possibility that this team, or a version of it, could appear on the screen. Here his words:
As a fan of comics, anything in them will always be our inspiration and our guide. In what form and how they appear, always defying expectations, it is part of the fun along with meeting them. But yes, you can certainly notice that in Phase 4 there are introductions of all kinds of characters whose possibilities are endless. Now everyone at Marvel Studios feels like Nick Fury at the end of Iron Man 1, as new actors and performers arrive and we tell them they are part of a larger universe. Now they have to do the work necessary to build their own audience. I’m happy to say that everyone here, where I am sitting now, is doing things wonderfully and I can’t wait to show you the world.
