Today is Wednesday, January 13 and these are the main news of the day:
1.- The US government will begin to require all international travelers to test negative for COVID-19 before flying into the country. Travelers must take the tests no more than three days before the flight and present the results to the airline. The measure will take effect on January 26.
2.- The city of Miami Beach will vote today whether or not to organize the ‘Spring Break’ festival. Although the Finance Committee approved $ 1 million for the event, the mayor and other city authorities consider that this is not the time for such spending and also because it would be a great challenge to enforce the rules to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

3.- A pediatrician, identified by the authorities as Michael Mizrachy, is behind bars on charges of child pornography. Police say they found photos of minors in their underwear and a video showing an 8 to 10-year-old having sex with an adult. The pediatrician has offices in Plantation and Weston.
4.- The non-governmental organization Líderes Sociales announced 15 scholarships for young Cubans between 20 and 35 years old, interested in preparing in the United States to promote civil society on the island. 5.- The Activision company announced that it will offer temporary free access to the new version of the video game “Call of Duty” starting on Thursday, January 14. Fans will be able to play it for free until January 21, then they will have to buy it.
