Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, like other titles of the new generation, has several configuration options to offer different experiences, according to the tastes of the players.
The Insomniac Games game debuted with a Performance Mode and a Graphical Fidelity Mode. In case you don’t know, the first one allows you to enjoy the game with a dynamic 4K resolution and 60 fps, but without ray tracing.
For its part, the Graphics Fidelity Mode presents the game at 4K and 30 fps, with the possibility of playing with some visual improvements and ray tracing. Insomniac Games wants to give players more options, so they prepared an update with an additional configuration mode on PlayStation 5.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales receives new performance mode
According to the details, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales received an update of approximately 262MB today. Thanks to this, PlayStation 5 users now have access to a new configuration mode in the game.
The modality is called Performance RT, as it focuses on ray tracing. This is an alternative setting that offers the 60 fps of the standard performance mode, but also has ray tracing activated.
As you can imagine, to make this possible, aspects such as the resolution of the title had to be sacrificed. Insomniac Games did not exactly detail the resolution of the game in this mode.
On the other hand, the quality of reflections and the number of pedestrians that can be seen in the game city were also decreased. Below are some images that show the new configuration option.
