Mexico City. (Benito Jiménez) – National Lottery cancels draws for Covid-19. The National Lottery announced the cancellation of the scheduled draws from March 29 to April 19, as part of the preventive measures implemented to avoid Covid-19 infections.
In a statement, Rodolfo Martínez Figueroa, deputy director general of Marketing and Services of the National Lottery for Public Assistance, reported that once the competent authorities issue the provisions that make possible the resumption of activities, the holders of tickets of the canceled draws will be able to exchange them for those of other draws.
The measure to cancel the draws scheduled on those dates, he added, adheres to the “agreement that establishes preventive measures for the mitigation and control of the health risks that the disease caused by the SARS-COV2 virus (Covid- 19) “, published in the Official Journal of the Federation last March 24.
