President Trump made a publication on Twitter this Friday where accused Democrats of delaying a second round of stimulus checks, according to Fox Business.

The president noted that there are financial supports of $ 1,200 and $ 3,400 (for a family of four), which are “ready to be sent,” but that Democrats are withholding.

“Democrats are withholding the $ 1,200 to $ 3,400 (family of four) checks that were ready to be sent!” Trump wrote.

Republicans unveiled the HEALS Act on Monday, where they called for a second round of direct payments, very similar to those distributed under the CARES Law.

Payments would be $ 1,200 per adult for those with adjusted gross income of up to $ 75,000. And in the case of married couples, those who earn up to $ 150,000 dollars, could receive $ 2,400 and $ 500 per dependent.

The White House, Republicans and Democrats have been working on the terms of a bill for the whole week and it is not yet known if they are close to reaching an agreement.

Although nothing has yet been approved, there is a good chance that a second round of stimulus checks will be awarded.
