While we continue to wait for OnePlus to launch its watch with Wear OS, the company has already announced its first wearable: the new OnePlus Band. It is, in short, something like the OnePlus Mi Band, although beyond the similar design, there are several differences.
OnePlus debuts in wearables with an activity bracelet with AMOLED screen, 2 week battery and continuous oximeter with a dedicated sensor, a feature that sets it apart from many other similar devices.

The OnePlus activity tracker
As planned, OnePlus has officially launched its first wearable, the OnePlus Band, in India. In appearance, it hardly differs from other similar bracelets such as the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 or the Honor Band 6, with a 1.1-inch AMOLED touch screen and a resolution of 126 x 294 pixels, although it has some unique features to find your own audience.
In the field of health, the OnePlus Band includes an optical heart sensor, with which a continuous monitoring of the pulse can be done. The main difference is in the blood oxygen saturation or SpO2 sensor, which is carried out by a dedicated sensor. You can take spot measurements during the day and continuous monitoring of blood oxygen during sleep.
For sports, the OnePlus Band allows you to record 13 different activities such as walking, running, cycling, yoga or badminton or swimming and is that it has resistance of 5 atmospheres and IP68 certification.
As for the battery, it has a capacity of 100 mAh which, according to official measurements, should give for 14 days of autonomy. In connectivity, it takes just enough, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE, as there is no NFC or GPS. There is also, at the moment, no support to link it to an iPhone: at the moment, you need Android 6.0 or higher.
OnePlus Band versions and prices
The OnePlus Band has been officially announced in India with an official price of Rs 2,799 (€ 31), lowered to Rs 2,499 (28 euros to change) for its release. The body is in black, with straps in other colors and an official price of 399 rupees (4.5 euros to change). At the moment we do not have information on its availability in other regions.
