OnePlus is inspired by the Nothing Phone and reveals the OnePlus 11 Concept with LED lights

Do you remember when Carl Pei’s company Nothing introduced the Nothing Phone with its distinctive design and its unique The Glyph lighting system in the smartphone industry and it just seemed distinctive to us? Well, OnePlus has come up with something similar with the next OnePlus 11 Concept.

Some experts call it interface glyphs, but they are literally LED lights. And what else do OnePlus and Nothing have in common? That both companies were founded by Pei, the well-known Chinese-Swedish businessman.

As a report published on the website of gizmodoOnePlus briefly revealed the OnePlus 11 Concept ahead of the official presentation at Mobile World Congress, which will be held in Barcelona on February 27.

The Chinese company described the leaked photos, including the one that opens this post, as follows: “In these photos you can see the progress of the OnePlus 11 Concept, highlighting the ice blue lines that run along the entire back of the phone, almost as if the device had its own set of blood vessels.”

“These OnePlus 11 Concept ducts are housed within a bold and futuristic unibody glass design inspired by the tranquil stillness and power of a glacial lake,” the company explained.

Impressive “ice blue ducts”

The report highlights the “ice blue ducts” that are shaped like LED strips and that run along the entire back of the OnePlus Concept 11. The strips end in an impressive circle that completely frames the phone’s camera module.

OnePlus has not yet explained if the glyph will have any extra functionality, but it does not seem unreasonable that it is a system similar to that of the Nothing Phone, whose interfaces can light up specifically for certain notifications or to show the battery level.

We are also waiting for its price and specifications, but we will surely know them next week at the Mobile World Congress.
