Not even the second vice president of the Government, Pablo Iglesias, nor the representatives of your group, United We Can, have applauded this Tuesday the speech of King Felipe VI in the institutional act for the 40th anniversary of the coup attempt on 23-F held this afternoon in Congress.
The members of United We Can at the Table of Congress, Gerardo Pissarello and Gloria Elizo, have avoided applauding the words of the monarch and Nor have they stopped when passing in front of Felipe VI.
The spokesperson for United We Can in Congress, Pablo Echenique, has also attended the event.
The king’s speech
Felipe VI has come to Congress between shouts of “long live the king! and long live Spain!”“and in his speech he praised the role played by his father, Juan Carlos I, to make the coup attempt on 23-F fail.

Iglesias has not applauded this speech and will not attend the institutional lunch organized by Congress to commemorate this anniversary, a lunch in which the Government will be represented by President Pedro Sánchez and Vice President Carmen Calvo.
