Mexican politics continues to give something to talk about in the public sphere, because on Monday night it was announced that Francisca Viveros, popularly known as “Paquita la del Barrio”, registered as a candidate of the Citizen Movement Party (MC) to a deputation in Misantla, in the Mexican state of Veracruz.
The interpreter of “Two-legged Rat”, originally from the municipality of Alto Lucero, declared that she agreed to enter politics out of “love for her people and for her land.”
Through a press conference, the Mexican singer declared that “the only thing that prevails in life is love and that is what I have for my land, for my people and for Veracruz.”
Francisca Viveros was sincere and acknowledged that she does not know what she will face, but assures that she will have “many people behind who will advise her to do a great job.” In addition, between cheers and tears, she asked not to be judged for making the decision to participate in the electoral elections.
“I don’t know what I’m coming here for, I just know that there are people behind me who are the ones who are going to teach me how to handle all of this,” he told the media.
In gratitude for her launch as a candidate for the MC party, Paquita la del Barrio decided to take the microphone, take over the stage with the charisma that identifies her and sang some songs for the attendees, such as “Rata de dos pies”, “Tres times I cheated on you ”and“ Without fortune ”.
