Yazeed Al Rajhi won the tenth stage of the Dakar on Wednesday while Stéphane Peterhansel consolidated his leadership.
In cars, this Wednesday day smiled on Yazeed Al-Rajhi. Indeed, the Saudi driver from Toyota, who is competing at home, won, while mastering, the tenth stage of this Dakar 2021, for his second victory in this edition.
The second place of the day goes to Nasser Al-Attiyah. Finally, the podium is completed by the French Stéphane Peterhansel, winner of the stage of the day before. The Habs quickly understood that he would not make the double, after a bad start. After the first intermediate point, Peterhansel was then in seventh place and therefore never seized the first.
The Mini driver, widely leader in the general classification, was content to manage. Result, he conceded only 49 small seconds to Al-Attiyah and in the general classification, it is still 17 good minutes which separate the two men.
