For years, Pokémon fans have been crying out for Game Freak to spoil them with a remake of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl, the titles of the fourth generation of Pokémon. Apparently these dreams would soon come true, or at least that’s what a rumor assures.
What happens is that Centro Pokémon, a Spanish-speaking medium focused on Pokémon content, exclusively revealed that remakes of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl will be the next main Pokémon deliveries.

According to the medium, this information was provided by sources close to The Pokémon Company, who also assured them that they will be more traditional remakes, thus moving away from the line started by Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!
As you can imagine, the Pokémon Diamond & Pearl remakes would be for Nintendo Switch and their debut would be this year. Since the franchise’s major installments typically debut in the last quarter of the year, we hope that’s when we see this launch.
The media also assures that there is little left for this information to become official. We say so since it ensures that the remakes of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl will be revealed in February. We imagine that we would see them in the supposed Pokémon Direct that will take place next month.
