One year after the takeover of Sintertech threatened with liquidation and despite the Covid-19 crisis which began three months later, the renowned company Poral is keeping its head above water. “We are much smaller, but we have the advantage of being well sized which has saved our activities”, recognizes Denis Pugnet, Managing Director of Poral. The company now employs 70 people, including 50 in Oloron-Sainte-Marie, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, and around 20 in Isère against 280 employees, including 73 in Oloron-Sainte-Marie, under the old Sintertech configuration.
