People with presbyopia suffer to read: they must change their glasses from the usual ones to the reading ones. But a North American company designed adjustable lenses presented at CES 2021.

These glasses only need to rotate one or two spheres to achieve focus.

So-called VOY lenses have a small sphere on each leg of the lens. To adjust focus, the user just pulls the wheel away from the nose for negative power. If you want it positive, you just have to turn the sphere towards the nose.

Lens technology I GO it is based on two polycarbonate plates on each side of the glasses. These slide off each other when the wheel is adjusted. Depending on the position of the plate, the required focus is achieved.
