Hawkeye will soon be coming to the Disney Plus catalog, and it is not yet known with certainty how it will connect with previous series or how it will influence the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What we do know is that it will introduce new characters, fundamental in the comics, and that it will bring back Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova now taking the place of Natasha Romanoff, perhaps seeking revenge or at least an explanation for her death.

But beyond Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, what has attracted attention is that the series created by Jonathan Igla has not yet been released, and Marvel Studios has already confirmed that a spin-off will emerge starring Alaqua Cox, who in the series plays Maya López, also known in comics as Echo. This has sparked a series of conversations about what he might be up to, as connoisseurs of Marvel graphic novels will know that Echo has a certain romantic interest in Daredevil.
Charlie Cox, meanwhile, has not been confirmed for any project related to the MCU, however, endless rumors have been unleashed about his alleged presence in Spider-Man: No Road Home, or the possibility that he will be of continuity to his series now as part of this cinematic universe. Now, new rumors indicate that both Cox, as other members of the cast of the Netflix series could be integrated into the series of Threw out.
The well-known Hollywood informant, Daniel richtman, has ensured that we could not only see Charile cox on Threw out, but also Vincent D’Onofrio, who played Wilson Fisk in Daredevil – 93%. In addition, the journalist argued that the spin-off would also function as a “slight reboot” of the Man Without Fear series or that it would be given a place as a fourth season to give it continuity in what happened until the episodes broadcast in 2018 .

This would undoubtedly become very confusing for the audience; and as much as the Marvel Studios writers find the ideal and orderly way to put both stories together, it would still be unfavorable for a character who is just getting introduced or who is supposed to be his solo series, and who have more importance of other well-known characters. Maybe for Disney this sounds like a great strategy to catch fans of Daredevil, but it doesn’t seem like the best option.
It is worth mentioning that Fisk is one of the favorites to appear in Threw out because in some comics he has a fairly close relationship with Maya, mainly because he was responsible for the death of his parents and also having raised her as his own daughter.

Proof that the new characters can function on their own without the need for a character to act as a bridge between the stories is Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings – 95% that, despite the cameo it has, did not need to directly return to past stories to function before the audience. Now we just have to wait for the final decision of the top executives on how they will finally reintroduce Daredevil without forcing him.
