For quite some time we have been hearing rumors about what will happen to the characters of Daredevil – 93%, Jessica Jones – 69%, Iron Fist – 50% and Luke Cage – 78%, which were brought to the small screen by Netflix in partnership with Marvel. After the cancellation of the series starring those superheroes, it was said that it would be two years before Marvel Studios could do something with them, time has passed and there is no official news, although a new rumor says that a reboot of Daredevil is in development.

Given the positive reception that the Netflix series had of the character, it seems a mistake that a reboot is made, but if we have to believe the information shared by the influencer Daniel Richtman (via Comic Book), Disney is planning the reboot to feature the same actors as the Netflix series. The cast was a very important part of the show and for millions of fans it will be unacceptable to see another actor other than Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, or another actor other than Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin.
The rumor also says that characters like Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, could be part of the project, of which it is not known if it will be a feature film or a Disney Plus series. Richtman also announced that Daredevil will appear in the series of Threw out, character that will be introduced in Hawkeye.

This information matches previous rumors that the actor Vincent D’Onofrio had approved on his Twitter, as he liked several tweets where it was said that Kingpin played by him would appear in Hawkeye. We do not know if those likes mean that he agreed with them or if he does so in the hope that they will come true. On the other hand, in April of this year The Hashtag Show had said the same thing that Richtman now says:
There are some characters and actors that [en Marvel] they want to bring it back, but the catch here is that no explicit mention is going to be made of their time and experiences on Netflix shows. […] Those are stories that are not going to be part of the roles. They’re just going to be actors playing the same characters, but within a completely different universe. […] From what I’ve heard, Charlie Cox is going to appear as a cameo in Spider-Man: No Road Home, Jon Bernthal and Krysten Ritter are going to appear in the Disney Plus series, and D’Onofrio is going to be in Echo.
Although the series were originally planned to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the creative differences between the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, and the former CEO of Marvel Entertainment, Ike Perlmutter, caused different paths to be taken in 2015. Many fans believe that Agents of SHIELD – 100% is canon since its first seasons were connected to the movies and had some important cameos, but it seems increasingly clear that no series before Disney Plus is canonical.

Daredevil and the other Marvel series on Netflix were very well received by critics and the public, so it is worth recovering them and making them canon. which could happen thanks to the multiverse, as other rumors say that we will see Charlie cox as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Road Home, a film that is known to be about the multiverse, and will bring back characters from the Spider-Man sagas – 89% and The Amazing Spider-Man – 73%, like Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and Jamie Foxx’s Electro.
