This Monday, February 27, we will witness a new edition of Pokémon Presents, the series of online videos produced by The Pokémon Company with announcements and news about its products and from which good news for fans of the franchise is expected on this occasion.
This presentation format began to be implemented since June 2020 as an alternative to the Pokémon press conferences and as a proposal similar to the Pokémon Direct organized by Nintendo, but with the difference that its contents have a greater reach.
Here’s everything to expect from the presentation, including its broadcast times, details, and what to expect as possible news right on Pokémon Day.
The schedule of the Pokémon Presents for Latin America, on February 27, is:
- 8:00 a.m. Mexico.
- 9:00 am Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
- 10:00 a.m. Venezuela and Bolivia.
- 11:00 a.m. Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
The presentation will be broadcast on YouTube channels franchise officers. The event will last between 20 and 25 minutes.
It is speculated that it would be the DLC of Pokémon Scarlet and Purple as the most feasible option for the presentation, or a new installment of the main series as the least likely.
In addition, in a report published on the Nintenderos website, they assure that we could have news of the expected Pokémon Sleep. This is because the domain PokemonSleep.com redirects to the Announcement page of the Presents.
Pokémon Sleep will be an Android and iOS mobile game, developed by Japanese studio Select Button with the help of Pokémon Go developer Niantic, and published by The Pokémon Company.
The game will track the amount of time a user sleeps, using the accelerometer of the external accessory Pokémon Go Plus+ and communicates the data to the user’s mobile device via Bluetooth regarding sleep. However, the specific details of the video game have not been revealed, something that we could know in the upcoming Presents.
