Localities with special measures increase in the region. Likewise, the Provincial Delegation of Health in the province of Guadalajara has proposed special measures in the towns of Azuqueca de Henares and Marchamalo.

Given the appearance of new confirmed cases of coronavirus in recent days, the situation requires the adoption of complementary measures to the general measures that are already being applied by the Ministry of Health throughout the regional territory.

These measures that come into force this Sunday include the closure of discos, dance halls and cocktail bars, as well as the precautionary suspension of activity in Day Centers and the suppression of visits in nursing homes or sheltered homes for the elderly. . Likewise, the municipal swimming pool is closed and the libraries, museums, cinemas and theaters, as well as the suspension of sporting and cultural events.

There will also be a precautionary closure of parks and gardens and the suspension of street markets and open-air markets. Religious activities will limit the capacity to 50 percent of its usual capacity, as long as interpersonal distancing measures are maintained.

Collective leisure activities and sporting and cultural events are suspended.

Citizens are recommended to limit social encounters outside the stable coexistence group. Likewise, it is recommended to the public that social encounters are limited to a maximum of 10 people including partners.

Incidence in Castilla-La Mancha

Castilla-La Mancha, after occupying the third position among the communities most affected by daily cases in the first months of the pandemic, is currently in the seventh position, as confirmed daily by the Ministry of Health.

The cumulative incidence of diagnosed cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days is 96.51, the national average being 149.75.

For its part, the cumulative incidence of diagnosed cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 7 days is 50.96, the national average being 78.82, according to data published by the Ministry of Health yesterday afternoon.

From the Ministry of Health, a call is made to citizen responsibility, so that people who have symptoms compatible with Covi-19 such as fever, cough and muscle fatigue, do not go out and contact health centers.

Already last Friday, the Minister of Health, Jesus Fernández Sanz, explained that “there are many outbreaks due to social and family encounters and we want to make a call to responsibility”, stressing that there are numerous cases in which people with coronavirus symptoms are circulating on the street, and reiterating that “they must contact healthcare professionals and follow their instructions ”. In that sense, he stressed that the Administration must be relentless with people who do not do their duty and announced that the Government of Castilla-La Mancha is working on punitive measures for this type of irresponsibility.
