With only a few months until the release of Guilty Gear: Strive, Arc System Works decided to reveal more details about the content that the game will have at launch. As a good fighting title, the new installment will offer several modes that can be enjoyed offline.
For now, the studio talked about 6 game modes and stated that very soon it will share information about 2 other modes that can also be used without the need for a connection.
As expected, Guilty Gear: Strive will also feature online game modes; however, Arc System Works has not disclosed details about this component.

These will be the offline modes of Guilty Gear: Strive
The first offline mode of the game will be Tutorial, which will allow players to know the mechanics and basic concepts of the title. At the same time, they can improve their skills or remember some movements if they are already fans of the saga. This mode will have a visual guide with a control and a list of movements.
One of the central modes of the title will be Arcade, where the history of each character can be learned while fighting against the rest of the roster. The narrative will branch out depending on the performance of the players during battles.
Fans will be able to hone their skills on specific game systems in Mission mode, where certain requirements will have to be met to earn points. With them you can unlock presentations that work as guides for the rest of the modalities.
Survival will play against intelligence game after game with a limited amount of health. The goal is to defeat the greatest number of enemies, including more powerful versions of fighters that will appear every certain number of victories.
The title will also feature the inevitable Training mode, where there will be videos and explanations with the most important techniques and commands for beginners. The behavior of artificial intelligence can be configured.
On the other side is Versus, where fans can measure their skills against other players or artificial intelligence. This mode will have a results screen showing strengths and weaknesses.
Arc System Works also confirmed that the title will have a Story mode and a Gallery, but did not give details about them for now.
