Flamengo took a giant step to be in the final of the Copa Libertadores. He defeated Barcelona with a double of Bruno henrique (2-0), but did not exploit a unique opportunity to leave the tie for sentencing. Barcelona, with one less, knew how to defend itself in a second half with a lot of skill and will try to play its options next Wednesday in Guayaquil.

1-0, Bruno Henrique, min. 22; 2-0, Bruno Henrique, min. 38.
Match played at the Maracanã stadium (Rio de Janeiro). About 30,000 spectators.
The Maracana roared. And, with the crooked maddened and eager to live a historic night, any possibility of drowsiness and contemporization was eliminated.. The party was born electric. Al Mengao, however, found it difficult to enter the game, against a serious Barcelona in its defensive approach and with a vocation to punish with lashes.
Diego Alves saved the cariocas (min. 6) with a double save on consecutive pitches of Mastriani and Valued. Barcelona still had another with Castle (min. 10), which again demanded the former Valencia.
And after the scares, the Flamengo settled down, adjusted its positioning, calibrated the precision & mldr; and the offensive machine started working. Up, in the last meters, the rubronegros shot individual quality.
The red-black gale broke out with Gabigol serving long to Bruno henrique, who won the backs of Castle and scored 1-0 with a spectacular header (min. 22). The Brazilian champion sent two balls to the crossbar: first with Bruno Henrique, after another assistance from Gabigol, and then with a whiplash from outside the Andreas pereira. Yellow was groggy. And the 2-0 came (min 38) after a counterattack that ended with a sugary pass from Vitinho to Bruno henrique.
In the last play of the first half, Nixon Molina swept Bruno Henrique to cut a counterattack and saw the second yellow. The red one was unquestionable. Flamengo, who established their superiority by commanding both areas, faced the entire second half, with one more, and the possibility of liquidating the tie.
The Brazilians did not know how to interpret such a favorable scenario well. They squeezed after leaving the locker room, but the momentum turned to haste. Renato Portaluppi reinforced the spinal cord with Thiago Maia to straighten the course but without much success. Barcelona knew how to stay afloat by playing with great judgment and avoided a third goal that would have represented the final KO.
The aggression of Leo Pereira, which cost him the direct red card in the 89th minute summed up the feeling of helplessness of the Brazilians in about 45 seconds in which they were unable to maintain the same level of tension. Flamengo has everything going for him against a giant-killer Yellow, who will sell his skin at a high price.
