The hearing of Laure de La Raudière, the Member of Parliament for Eure-et-Loir (Agir) by the Economic Affairs Commission of the National Assembly – to which she belongs – ended with heavy applause. The overwhelming majority of deputies praised, for more than an hour, the Elysee’s proposal to appoint her as president of Arcep, the telecoms regulator. Only one parliamentarian frankly opposed it.
