A few weeks ago we shared with you the first images of Battlefield mobile, the long-awaited action game that will arrive during 2022 to iOS and Android. As we suspect, the beta started this month. The testing phase allowed a limited number of players to have the opportunity to enjoy it before its release. Fortunately, Electronic Arts did not prohibit users from capturing some videos with gameplay, which are already circulating on the internet.
According to information from VGC, the Battlefield Mobile beta is only available in the Philippines and Indonesia. However, it is expected to expand to other regions of the world in the coming weeks. At least in this first stage, players can only play on the map Grand bazaar, inherited from Battlefield 3. Also, the only available mode is Conquest, which to date remains the most popular multiplayer proposal in the franchise.
Electronic Arts mentions that, once the beta reaches other countries, those interested will be able to pre-register through the Battlefield Mobile page in the Play Store. Here it is important to mention that the test phases of many mobile games are only accessible from Android terminals. Of course, the company advises that it exists limited availability, then the best thing is to be aware of the availability in your country to register as soon as possible.
“Trial slots are limited, so those who pre-register are not guaranteed access to in-game trials, but will be notified of later versions. Please note that this trial is by invitation only with a registration limit per arrival order.”
From what can be seen in the videos, Battlefield Mobile will be faithful to the console and PC titles. For example, it will include the assault, medic, support and recon classes. It will also offer maps, characters, game modes, vehicles, weapons and gadgets that have already appeared in other Battlefield installments. As if the above were not enough, it will be possible to customize the equipment to adapt it to our tastes or needs.
“Find your playstyle and customize your soldier to maximize his abilities. Weapons, gadgets, skins, and more can be customized and upgraded to match your class and progress.”
The best of all? Battlefield Mobile will be free. Nonetheless, it will jump on the bandwagon of micro-transactions like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Mobile. They will surely adopt a seasonal model to launch new content every few months.
