The House of Representatives of the United States (USA) began its session on Wednesday in which it plans to vote for the new impeachment against the president, Donald Trump, who would seek his dismissal or impeachment, after the violent assault on the Capitol last Wednesday by a mob of his followers, in which 5 people died.
Democrats, with a majority in the Lower House, will seek to accuse the president of the charge of “incitement to insurrection.”
The vote it is expected to go ahead with the support of the Democratic caucus. In addition, at least 4 Republican legislators announced that they will join the initiative. Namely: Adam Kizinger, Congressman from Illinois; Liz Cheney, congresswoman from Wyoming; John Katko, from New York; and Fred Upton, from Michigan.
The process started in the Lower House promises to force the Senate to impeach Trump that will unfold when the president-elect, the Democrat Joe biden, already in power.
