These are the changes that Capcom is preparing for the video game

Resident Evil 4 Remake can become a new success for Capcom, following the path of Resident Evil 2 and 3. However, what are the changes that the company is preparing for the relaunch?

the insider Dusk Golem explained that “Resident Evil 4 Remake will be faithful to the original, but there are some parts that were reimagined and changed to a large extent.”

“There will be some very reimagined things or some old things will be replaced with new, but it’s less cutting-edge than a new direction,” he said.

However, Golem could not go further, stating that “Capcom is resuming marketing, so you have to leave it in their hands.”

Resident Evil 4 Remake will reach users from March 24, available for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S and PC.

The history of Resident Evil

Released in 1996 for the PlayStation, Resident Evil told the story of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, members of an elite force investigating the disappearance of their companions on the outskirts of Raccoon City.

They would be trapped in a mansion with zombies and other monsters, which they would have to kill to survive.

Resident Evil 4, known in Japan as Biohazard 4, appeared in 2005. In the video game, Leon S. Kennedy is recruited by the United States Secret Service to rescue Ashley Graham, daughter of the president, who is kidnapped in Spain by a criminal organization.

2.3 million units were sold, 400 thousand less than the original Resident Evil. The game can be enjoyed on various platforms.

Other mods considered for Resident Evil 4 Remake

Dusk indicates that Ada Wong’s story, included in Separate Ways, will be part of Resident Evil 4 Remake, but with a different way of development.

Krausser will also be available to users.

Finally, Dusk does not rule out that Capcom works on a version of virtual reality for PS VR2, but considers it complicated.
