Comfort is paramount, beyond the combination with the wardrobe of the queen of Barbados. Maison Margiela and Salomon had already worked on a previous collaboration, in November 2022, but now it was their turn to give the Super Bowl star a personalized sneaker.

The Maison Margiela MM6 x Salomon Cross Low is done in pink and red, following the color of Rihanna’s wardrobe. It’s a mid-cut construction fused with a protective ripstop, giving it a modern edge.

Its lower part follows Salomon’s Speedcross pattern, with details of the French company such as the name on the side of the heel. In addition, it has a mesh composition without laces.

The model worn by Rihanna at the Superbowl can be found in select retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Farfetch, Ssense and Extra Butter, all in the United States. Throughout February, the Maison Margiela MM6 x Salomon Cross Low retailed for $360.
