A fire affected on the morning of this Saturday a building of the Metro Collective Transport System located in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office.
Due to the incident, so far the service in lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 is suspended.
This is what we know:
-The accident occurred around 5:40 am this Saturday, at the Metro control center 1, on Delicias street.
-The fire started on the fourth floor of the building.
-The Heroic Fire Department and the Condors detachment of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City went to the place to fight the fire.
-The fire trapped 60 people who took refuge on the fifth floor and the roof of the place.
-The Fire Brigade reported at 9:17 am that the fire had been completely extinguished.
-Claudia Sheinbaum, Head of Government, reported that 29 people were transferred to hospitals due to smoke poisoning.
Controlled 90% fire. At the moment 29 workers from @MetroCDMX transferred to Hospitals due to smoke poisoning and one death due to a fall.

-The official also reported the death of Maria Guadalupe Torres Cornejo, industrial banking police.
-According to information from the SSC, the police jumped from the fourth floor around 6:30 a.m.
