It’s still a couple of weeks before the film hits theaters, but interviews with Tom hardy have given much to talk about, because he hopes to continue giving life to Eddie brock. Of course, a lot is asked about the possibility that Venom somehow join the UCM, where Tom Holland gives life to Spider-man. It’s known that Sony and Marvel they had to reach a very specific agreement so that the company could make use of the arachnid in Captain America: Civil War – 90%. The character had two independent films and then it was revealed that the deal between the brands had fallen apart. Luckily, Holland managed to convince both parties and thanks to this we will soon have Spider-Man: No Road Home, whose first trailer drove everyone crazy.
The third installment of Spidey may be one of the most successful within the UCM or a great failure. Fans have created tons of theories, fueled speculation, and raised expectations that will be hard to beat. Not only is it about the possible appearance of Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, it is also that fans hope that this title finally includes Venom, even if he is not a villain in his own story.
Tom hardy he is more than willing to make this a reality, although it is quite complicated. The actor has confirmed that he has spoken with Sony on the possibility, since he considers that it is his responsibility to satisfy the followers; in other words, you think you wouldn’t be doing a good job if you weren’t pushing it. On the other hand, Andy Serkis, director of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, commented recently that he is sure a crossover will happen at some point, but that it needs to be well planned so that possibilities are not missed for solo movies of Venom.

Now, during an interview for ET Canada (via Screen Crush), Hardy returns to the topic and explains how his character connects with that of Tom holland:
There is a Venom-Verse, you know, there is a Spider-Verse, there are multiverses, there are all kinds of canons, traditions, and mythology that can be explored sideways and later in time.
The actor seems to be aware that Marvel officially began its multiverse phase with the end of Loki – 96% and with the series What If …? – 84% The consequences of these variants will be seen more clearly precisely in the third installment of Spider-man and in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Hardy says that everything is a matter of arriving at the right time:
I think with the right people, and the right planning, and the feedback from the audience, and understanding that it’s about making the right decisions at the right time … Even with the foresight to understand where things can go or where they want. Let them go, it is a combination of all that that is part of the alchemy of what will be.
With these words, it seems that the actor recognizes that the union cannot be given for sheer pleasure or just to satisfy the fans. It is a process in which many future plans must be taken into account, as well as contracts of the actors. Kevin Feige is known for listening to fans, so he may have the idea of bringing these characters together himself, but for that to happen there are two options: either a simple cameo or a structured development for a movie.
Since the break, and reconciliation, between Sony and Marvel, many experts have speculated that part of the new deal includes the idea of a crossover to also consolidate the Venom-Verse that Hardy talks about. It is very noticeable that in the tapes of this character there is no mention at all to Spider-man, which could be entirely intentional to leave the doors open to Tom holland, who has already confirmed in several interviews that he wants to give life to Peter parker The most time possible.
