Just a week to go to see if with Venom: Carnage Freed – 40%, Tom Hardyy and Andy Serkis swerve what little impressed us in Venom – 35%. However, the leading actor of this saga knows that his film has several obstacles to overcome, but remains optimistic and assures the public that, while they go to the movies, and make the sequel a success, there are already plans for a third.
Don’t Miss: Venom: Tom Hardy Accepts Negative Reviews But Remember It Was A Hit With Fans
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor Tom hardy he insisted again that he is very committed to the saga of Venom, which started a whole franchise, based on Marvel characters, in the Sony studio. Although he had already said this, he reminded his followers that the only thing necessary for there to be a third installment is that the second part manages to surprise with its collection.
I am deeply interested in this franchise. If it is successful, there is another one we want to do. I want to be able to do it. We already established Eddie and Venom in the world, what do we want to know about them? For the second film it was optimal to see them and think, what is it like to live with a symbiote inside you? Not everything can be good.
This is something that was clearly noticed in the first trailer. We particularly notice it in the scene where they are fighting and Venom comes out of the body to hit Eddie. The odd couple theme is one that will be exploited for a lot of comedy in the sequel. It’s also a great opportunity to throw Carnage (Woody Harrelson), a rival alien, on the scene and finally be able to introduce that favorite comic book villain.
On the subject of box office success, while the first film was battered by critics it also had an impressive gross of more than $ 850 million worldwide. Obviously, the health emergency has changed the landscape and, although it is estimated that it could make $ 40 million in its first weekend, that is only half of what its predecessor did in 2018.

Those who like this saga should not worry too much, as Sony is aware that the box office will not be as two years ago it would have been thought. And although it has been one of the few studios that have committed to exclusive theatrical releases, they obviously want to recoup the greatest amount of their investment, let alone make good profits, to be able to continue with their films.
Venom: Carnage Liberado – 40% will hit the Mexico billboard next week, although it has been released in other parts of the world as of yesterday. The film will be one of several expected releases that will finally hit theaters this month. And now they know that if they want to see more of the parasite, and its potential crossover with other Spider-Man villains, they will need to make it clear with their money that they liked this very much.
