To celebrate National Popcorn Day in the United States, Disney and Pixar have presented the first trailer of ‘Pixar Popcorn’, a collection of shorts from the powerful animation studio that will hit the Disney + platform on January 22, 2021.
This is a collection of 10 mini shorts that will feature some of Pixar’s most successful characters from movies such as ‘Toy Story’, ‘Finding Nemo’, ‘Cars’ and ‘The Incredibles’, in completely new stories created by the talented animators at Pixar Animation Studios.
‘Pixar Popcorn’ will mark the studio’s 11th project to land on a broadcast platform where we find (or will find in the future) the DIY series’ Disney Family Sundays’, the Toy Story 4 spin-off, ‘Forky Asks a Question. ‘, the hidden camera reality series’ Pixar in Real Life’ or ‘SparkShorts’, a show designed to give opportunities to those who would not otherwise get the recognition they deserved and which is currently developing new shorts for a second season.
