Trump loses, majority wins

Joe Biden defeats Trump with 273 seats, at least so far as the counts continue in several non-decisive states, compared to 214 for the still President who refuses to accept the victory of the Democrats.

Biden thus reaches the White House after a lifetime dedicated to politics. Of Irish and blue-collar origin, he was not the ideal candidate for anyone, but has obtained with 70 million votes more support than any other president in history of the US elections.

Thus comes the beginning of the political end of the controversial Donald Trump. The still president, without support from the Republican Party, has launched an offensive in the courts to delegitimize the results of the elections.

Biden will be the 46th president of the United States. At 77, he is the oldest politician to take office.
