America is warning the Burmese military junta which recently overthrew the civilian government of Aung San Suu Kyi. If the military again uses force against protesters, the United States would not hesitate to take further action.
Several days of demonstrations against the coup
After the February 1 putsch, the military junta seized power by Burma. The people are however against this situation. Since then, demonstrations against this Rebellion took place in several cities across the country. The military junta has not stopped stepping up the use of force to weaken pro-democracy mobilization, but this has not stopped activists from continuing.

The United States ask the army in Burma of “cease all attacks on peaceful demonstrators, immediately release all those unjustly detained … and restore the democratically elected government”, reports the Swiss news site Time.

Ten days ago Washington announced sanctions against the army which overthrew the civilian government of Briam. The United States again threatened the leaders of the military junta on Monday 22. “We will not hesitate to take further action against those who commit acts of violence and suppress the will of the people”, warned the head of American diplomacy.
