NBC, CBS, ABC and . have declared the Democratic candidate the winner with a lead of more than 11,000 votes in this tight presidential election, which puts Joe Biden on 11 more major voters. Fox News and Associated Press had already given the winning Democratic candidate on the night following the November 3 poll, much to the chagrin of his Republican rival, President Donald Trump.
This is the first time that the Democratic camp has won victory in this state since 1996. After this victory in Arizona, Joe Biden can now count on 290 voters, on the 270 necessary to win the presidential election and make his entry into the country. the White House on January 20.
For his part, Donald Trump still refuses to recognize the victory of his Democratic rival, more than a week after the election.
The result has yet to be proclaimed in two states:
-> The North Carolina: Trump leads with 50% against 48.7% for Biden, 98% of ballots were counted.
-> The Georgia: Biden is leading there with 49.5% against 49.2% for Trump, 99% of the ballots were counted there.
