Murcia, Aug 15 . .- Three new boats arrived between Friday night and the early hours of this Saturday bring to 137 the migrants of Algerian origin who arrived on the Murcian coast since yesterday afternoon in 10 small boats, according to the Delegation of the government.
To the seven boats with 98 migrants who arrived yesterday afternoon, one more with four people intercepted by the Civil Guard on the coastline of Cape Palos, in Cartagena, with 4 migrants, and another in Águilas were added. with 17, which was taken over by the Danube VI patrol boat, of the Murcia provincial maritime service.
It was detected by the radar of the integrated external surveillance system (SIVE) of Murcia 8 nautical miles south of Cape Cope.
At 1:55 am this Saturday, a tenth boat with 18 people on board was intercepted by the patrol boat Río Guadiaro, of the provincial maritime service of the armed institute in Alicante, after being also detected by the Murcian SIVE at 5.6 nautical miles south of the port of Cartagena.
