USA :United States: eight people disappeared in amphibious military vehicle crash

The military has reported one marine dead, two injured and eight others missing in an amphibious military vehicle crash off the coast of California in the United States.

In an accident of amphibious military vehicle (VMA) off the coast of California (United States), this Friday, July 31, a US Navy lost his life. The army added that two other Marines were injured and transported to local hospitals. According to Le Figaro, one of the injured is in critical condition. The other is stable.

In addition, eight other soldiers are missing, specifies the army. The accident took place during a routine exercise. A total of 16 people were on board the VMA.

“We are deeply saddened by this tragic accident,” Colonel Christopher Bronzi said in a statement.
