Since last Friday, the Call of Duty: Vanguard beta it has been open to the public. After a private phase exclusive to PlayStation consoles, millions of people have the opportunity to experience the multiplayer of the new title in the franchise before its official launch. However, Vanguard already pales Warzone’s main problem today. We refer, of course, to the hackers.
Believe it or not, hackers appeared during the Call of Duty: Vanguard open beta to ruin many people’s experience. The reports increased with the passing of the hours and, after some videos shared on social networks, there was no doubt about the presence of cheaters. The events caused annoyance among people who were trying to have a good time.
Obviously, the situation is even more worrying because Call of Duty: Vanguard has not even been released. Interestingly, these problems arose during the weekend when the pc gamers they were able to participate in the beta. It is well known that the vast majority of hackers are computer users who rely on software or hardware tools to cheat. However, due to cross-play, the effects are present on all platforms.
Among the traps that it was possible to identify in the Call of Duty: Vanguard beta is the automatic aiming (aimbot), which continues to cause so many headaches in Warzone. In addition, some hackers were able to end games in the middle of an adverse situation. For both cases there is sufficient evidence:
Is this an omen of things to come in the final version of Call of Duty: Vanguard? It remains to be seen, but what happened in the beta is not encouraging. Of course, it is necessary to mention that the new Warzone anti-cheat system, announced a few weeks ago, will also be implemented in Vanguard multiplayer. Apparently this system was not yet working during beta.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will be available next November 5th on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. At its launch it will offer up to 20 maps in multiplayer, an amount that will grow with the arrival of new seasons. The beta, meanwhile, will remain active until Wednesday, September 22.
