Marvel and DC come together again in a crossover… created by an Artificial Intelligence. Venom and Superman form a single character thanks to the generation of images of Midjourney, and the result is amazing.
Paul Parsons, the renowned designer who has more than 138,000 followers on Instagram (jed.ai.master)posted a set of Venom x Superman images.
Let’s remember how Midjourney works: the user enters a textual description of the image he needs and Artificial Intelligence produces it. In this case, Parsons also adds several design details.
This has been done, in addition to these images of Venom x Superman, in others such as sneakers inspired by DC and Marvel productions, or aged or infantilized soccer players.
Venom x Superman Post reached 11,615 likes in little more than a month of publication. What do you think about the result?
The origins of Superman and Venom in the comics
Superman is DC’s most popular character, and one of the oldest. He made his first appearance in Action Comics #1, June 1938, inspired by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
Born on Krypton under the name Kal-El, he was sent to Earth, where the Kent family adopted him, naming him Clark. Among his powers, he highlights the ability to fly, supreme strength and the shooting of lightning through his eyes, among many others.
In the cinema he has been played by actors such as Christopher Reeve, Brandon Routh and Henry Cavill.
While Venom, created by Randy Schueller, David Michelinie, Mike Zeck and Todd McFarlane, first appeared in comics in Marvel Super Heroes: Secret Wars #8, from December 1984.
He is an amorphous, semi-liquid symbiote that receives enhanced powers from any character. Also, he is undetectable to one of his great enemies, Spider-Man.
Actors like Topher Grace and Tom Hardy characterized him in movies.
