Wall Street closes in green and the Nasdaq renews a record

New York, Aug 4 (EFE) .- Wall Street posted slight gains on Tuesday, but enough for one of its main indicators, the Nasdaq Composite Index, to set a new record after a day marked by the stimulus package against the coronavirus impact debated by US lawmakers.

At the end of operations on the New York Stock Exchange, the Nasdaq advanced 0.35% or 38.37 points and stood at the unprecedented figure of 10,941.17 units, chaining its third consecutive session at highs , powered by some of the largest technology companies on the market.

The Industrial Dow Jones advanced 0.62% or 164.07 points, to 26,828.47 integers; and the selective S&P 500 rose 0.36% or 11.90 points, to 3,306.51 whole.
