Bethesda is preparing several very important releases for the next few years. Among them are The Elder Scrolls VI, the new installment of their successful franchise. In addition, we have Starfield, your next IP with which you are looking to conquer more players.
As if that were not enough, the company revealed this week that it is also preparing a new Indiana Jones game together with MachineGames and Lucasfilm Games. All these projects have something in common, as Todd Howard, an outstanding creative and manager of the company, works on them.
This has Bethesda fans a bit concerned, as they believe that the Indiana Jones game may affect the development of The Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield. For that reason, Pete Hines, Bethesda’s marketing manager, spoke on the subject.

Indiana Jones game won’t affect expected Bethesda titles
Hines was questioned on social media about Howard’s current role in the development of The Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield. A fan asked if the creative is still in charge as director of both projects, after it was confirmed that he will also be in charge of the Indiana Jones game.
“[Howard] he’s a talented man who has been doing this for years, I’m sure he’s fine. However, I wonder if he’s still the director on Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI, “said a Bethesda fan.
The fan received a clear response from Hines, who stated that Howard is working on multiple projects simultaneously. According to the details, the main focus of the creative is directing The Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield, titles that will not be affected by the Indiana Jones game.
As if that were not enough, Hines revealed that Howard is also part of the team in charge of the Fallout series that Amazon and the creators of Westworld are preparing. Apparently, his participation in the Indiana Jones game is because he is a huge fan of the franchise.
“Todd is a lifelong Indy fan and has been trying for over a decade to make this game. He is beyond excited to be working with the award-winning MachineGames team,” added Hines.
Todd is currently EP on many BGS and other projects, such as the Fallout TV show. His main focus remains Directing the upcoming Starfield and TES6 games, which aren’t affected by today’s news.
