The University of Toronto warned that various governments use a surveillance company to spy on citizens through citizen phones by implementing ‘software’.
According to the report from the University of Toronto, the company would have provided this controversial service in several Latin American nations, such as: Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador, Peru Y Chile. States from other parts of the world also stand out: Denmark, Belgium, Serbia, Estonia; Morocco, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Botswana, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Estonia; Israel, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.
In the Latin American region, there are several public institutions involved in this revelation. These include: the Police of Chile, the Mexican Secretariat of the Navy, the Government of Durango, Honduran Intelligence and the Peruvian Intelligence offices.
